Parents of children who are 5 years old
on or before August 31, 2012
may register
for Kindergarten in Orange County Schools.
What to Bring to Kindergarten Registration
The orange links below are required forms for Kindergarten registration. You must bring the completed forms with you to registration. The forms below work best with Adobe Reader, a free downloadable software program. Click HERE to download Adobe Reader.

Proof of Child’s Birth Date Acceptable documentation includes certified birth certificate or other certified birth record.
- Proof of Residence Acceptable documentation includes Orange County Schools require proof of residency to register a student. Click below for the required Affidavit of Residence form.
Accepted proof includes current: lease; un-separated Duke Power, OWASA, Piedmont Electric, or Public Service Gas bill; final real estate sales contract; deed; or contract to purchase. A driver’s license or telephone bill will not serve as proof.
