Child Nutrition Department
The Orange County Schools Child Nutrition program is based on the nutritional and educational needs of students and has been cooperatively developed as an integral part of the total education program. It is the responsibility of the program to ensure that adequate meals are made available to all students in all schools at a minimum cost. Nutrition is a vital part of the educational process.

Orange County Schools Child Nutrition Services as a part of the North Carolina Procurement Alliance released bids of the procurement and delivery of the following: Water, Beverages and Juices on March 28, 2012. The bid opening will be on May 14, 2012 at 10:00am at McKimmon Center for Extension and Continuing Education, NC State University Campus, 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, NC 27695.
