Print Shop
The Orange County Schools Print Shop (OHS-OCS Printshop) is a full-service facility serving the print and design needs of all thirteen schools as well as central office and support departments. When time allows, we also offer lower-cost print and design services to clients outside of the district. It is the mission of the OHS-OCS Printshop to become a model in-house print shop through outstanding customer service and use of technology to produce creative quality documents affordably.
Through the print shop, the school system can handle all of its own printing at substantial savings over previously outsourced jobs. Printing through our in-house print shop is not free – but it is designed to be the lowest cost printing option available in this area because we charge only enough to pay for materials and equipment maintenance. We will provide you with an official estimate for any job – usually within 24 hours or less. You will be billed for print jobs and school purchase orders are accepted. In addition to cost savings, the print shop offers better security and efficiency in district print jobs.
The OHS-OCS Print Shop has high speed digital Xerox equipment for printing both black and white as well as color documents. The machines are equipped so that your jobs can, in many cases, be printed, folded, collated and bound in one operation.
We accept digital files from most software programs and when digital files are not available, we can print from your original copies. As an added bonus, we can also use our equipment to “clean up” bad original copies.
